Healthy Share

Healthy Share, a vital outreach of our congregation, is an organization that helps people obtain nutritious food at a cost of at least half that at supermarket prices. Participants sign up near the first of each month, paying $19.00 for each package they order. They also agree to two hours of community service for each package. The food is then picked up at our church on a Saturday near the end of the month. It is very good quality food, as these pictures show you. There is always a variety of meat (kept frozen) and lot of fresh produce. A vegetarian package and all meat packages may also be ordered.

Share ordering times are during distribution on distribution day and on Sundays (except for the Sunday after orders go in to Healthy Share) from 11:15 till Noon.
